    diamantschwarz from Costa Rica

    Hi all,

Been on this forum for a while now. I have received great advice and also have bought some cool stuff for my E30 thanks to this community, but never took the time to introduce myself.

I live in Costa Rica and own a DS, 4 door 325i since 2007, it´s basically my daily driver. When I got it the PO´s have neglected the car in mechanical terms but also from an esthetic point of view.

So, this is the before (the day after I bought it), yeah those are E36 "wheel covers" on plain steel wheels:

    And this is the after:

^ Changes: M tech I replica body kit, legitimate Alpina´s 16x7, paint job, H&R sport springs, Bilstein shocks, smiley´s, M tech II steering wheel, etc...

Before having the Alpina´s I had a set of AZEV type A, now sold:

Currently the M20 is undergoing surgery, a budget 2700cc stroker:

    ETA crankshaft:

325i pistons (skirts cutted) and 325E rods:

    VAC adjustable gear:

    Almost ready:

When the M20 is ready I have a set of 15 BBS RS awaiting, a couple of Startec stops and also a headlight wiper kit...

So, take care everyone and keep taking good care of your E30´s.

      ^ Hi there,

Nice, yeah another r3vlimited member lives in Costa Rica and has a vert/cabrio brilliantrot 320i, he´s actually a good friend of mine. Also another friend posts here, he owns a modified 335i E30 with my ex-wheels, hehe, AZEV type A´s...

It would be great to meet, very nice having an E30 M3, some say that in Costa Rica there are less than 10 E30 M3´s and not all on running condition I happen to know a few of friends and acquaintances.

Feel free to contact me (besides here) on the BMW Car Club Costa Rica site/forum: http://www.bmwclubcr.com/foro/

      Best regards,
      Abraham,

              More pics...

Also had some style 5's aka BBS RZ, I painted them nogaro silver:

              Inside:

              885 cylinder head:

              The M20 again:

I hope to attend at least one track day (after the break-in period off course) this year just to double check it is running properly... :p

^ Thanks, love your tee shirts, I have a lot of them, haha. An E9 CSL, perhaps the IMSA # 25 would be a great design for an upcoming tee! :D

^ Cool, I live in San Jose, more specifically Tibás. Very nice Samara, I guess probably a 5 hour drive from my house. But then again you can reach anywhere in about 6 hour driving distance, it´s a small country.
