    Introducing My e30!

So I've been a long time lurker on R3V and I thought it was only appropriate to introduce myself and my car.

The car is a Zinnoberrot 1987 325is with 186,000 miles on it. The car has had the front bumper converted to late model as well as a rebuilt ported and polished head. It has Bilstein sports with Eibach's and a larger rear (IX) sway bar installed. It also has some extra gauges in the center console that a PO installed.

Since I've had the car I've repaired a few things, installed BMW performance pedals and M shift knob and just installed the KA motors carbon fiber air intake recently. I've also installed a Magnaflow 16535 cat back exhaust. The next couple things to go in are the Condor Speed shop motor mounts and Vac Motorsports rear shock mount reinforcement kit. I've also got to convert that rear bumper to late model to get the car to look right.

Please excuse the bad pictures as I took these underground earlier this year and haven't had a chance to take any better ones just yet. I've learned tons from R3V already and hope to learn lots more from this great community.

    I've mended something!

                        He only has one!

Clean car. One of my favorite e30 combinations. Early + 325is + zinno.

One of the best in that combo: (my opinion)

The plans for this summer are a bit of body work. Hopefully do the rear bumper conversion, get a pair of IS side skirts and pick up some center caps for the wheels. I've got some Euro smileys being restored right now and I've got to pick up some new OEM front carpets. I also just ordered a ZHP shift knob today so that should go in later next week.

As far as mechanicals go it is pretty sound right now and I just plan to keep it well maintained. I've been thinking about putting an E36 rack in the front but I'm not sure about that.

As far as the bilsteins and eibachs things are fairly low and rough. I don't autocross so a different suspension setup may be required in the future.
                            I've mended something!
