I'll most likely keep the bumpers stock. Maybe add euro grills.

I want to put in a SSK but I need to read up more on which one to get. Anyone know a vendor who sells shift boots and ebrake boots? Might have to check back on the e46 forum because I remember seeing lots of people putting in custom ones on their M3's.

Congrats on the new bronzit! She looks like a beaut.

Just make sure to take your time, do your research and dont rush the mods cuz most likely you'll end up having to do it all over again.

      You're off to a good start. :)

Nice '88 - I have the same year.

Get the OE Z3 1.9 SSK. I have one in mine & it's great. I'd recommend Delrin carrier bushings from Garagistic at the same time. Made a world of difference in feel & took out a lot of the slop from the standard shifter.

These cars look great with the updated plastic bumpers. '88 is a simplistic swap and will drastically clean up the look of the car. I am in the midst of doing a plastic bumper upgrade myself on my '88 and can't wait for the results.

Looks great, please don't convert to plastic bumpers, 88s with metal bumpers look sweet!

Did a few things to my car over the weekend. Installed some Morimoto 4300k HID's, changed the OBC light bar, and painted my front grills black since they were fading to grey. My keyless entry should be here next week, so hopefully I wont have to lock and unlock the doors from the trunk anymore!

Thanks man! Funny, I just read through about 30 pages of your build thread and pm'd you about your garage door opener.

Installed the keyless entry and its been awesome. Didnt get too technical with adding flashing lights or anything, just installed it in the trunk and it took about 20 minutes. I would recommend it to every E30 owner.
