Hello everybody

I'm Colin, a car addict, and I've been into BMWs for a couple years now. (you can see my e46 in behind the new e30). Anyhow, as any true BMW enthusiast knows... one has to have an e30 at some point, so here is mine:

I've had a soft spot (get it: I bought a soft top) for e30s for awhile and always had my eye out for a nice one. I found this one on ebay, the top had been slashed and radio stolen, but otherwise the car was in very good condition- the seller had even just paid to overhaul the entire suspension and put in a brand new AC.

While the outside was spotless when I bought it, the interior was not so much. So after driving from DC to CT in a blizzard, with a slashed top, I proceeded to clean a bit...

Next, I just replaced the top this weekend, but before I take any pictures I need to figure out how to adjust it correctly.
The rear has about 1-2" gap between the top and the compartment cover, but the weird thing is that the rear weather seal is sitting/sealing correctly (so it appears)... :-?
-> Any tips are welcome
then one more to show off my e46:

Oh ya, and I also have this...

... but that's longer term, I have a lot on my plate now with work and studying for the CFA
