new to e30s, this is betty

i guess ive been putting this off for too long now,
i first fell in love with bmw's (mainly e30s) when i lived in the pnw with some buddies. and now being back home in michigan i found myself in need to own one myself.
this is my second bimmer after an e36, my dream car has been an e30 for a couple of years now.
so here she is. a 91 318i sedan
its much more of a project than i was hoping, but living in michigan e30s are very hard to find, i had to go a couple states away to find one. its nowhere near perfect, but youve gotta start somewhere. we have a long road ahead of us for sure.

that Was a mix of both rust and mud. the drivers side was 90% rust free, except for the bottom part of the drivers door had surface rust, all rust was grinded down and primer, paint from bavarian autosport will be here monday. the passenger side on the other hand was horrible. rust holes were cut out and i welded patches in place and put a thin layer of bondo over to cover the imperfections since im not a very avid welder. i had to totally refabricate a chunk of the rear fender. it was alot of fun. haha im happy with how it turned out for my first time with body work.

hahahah i guess i dont know why i called her betty, thats the first name that came to mind, a cross from ugly betty and betty from the archie comics. everyone who sees it, mostly my coworkers at the station, and my mom think my car is "ugly"
