    TJ's car in Performance BMW

In the January '06 issue, there's a shot of his car at the top of the page, in their coverage of SummerBlaze 2005.

Just thought you guys might be stoked to see it there, I know I was! Nice work, TJ.

Brits have low standards. (j/k Teej).

Still, Look closely at most of the cars in Total BMW and you will see a TON of flaws. The most recent one I picked up had a story about a cabby with an S52 in it - the windshield is broken!!!

PBMW isn't as bad, but they really could stand to touch up some of their photos.

I'll look for it at Barnes & Noble next time I am there.

Total BMW and BMW Car are me favorites. PBMW can get plenty ricey at times, but I like to take in all aspects and points of views, even the ones I dont agree with. Every now and then youll see an original one-of-a-kind mod that actually is pretty nicely thought out or put together amongst all the neon green E36 318i's with no engine mods except "Scorpion rear box". :) Some of these kids have good ideas.

That is true. Some of the mods make you scratch your head, but then again, it seems that here in r3v land - there are cookie cutter things that every one wants to do. Come up with the next "hot" thing, and the lemmings just snap it up.

I used to be kind of conservative in my preferences all the while not really criticising people until I got to this site regularly, then saw how silly that was and now Im opening my mind a little more due to the extreme close-mindedness of the bunch here. Not knocking them, its their preference, just like its peoples preference to put hydros on a car thats known for handling. It made me realize a few things, and for that Im grateful. Still wouldnt mod a car that differently though. I just didnt know tere was more conservative than I with the whole "factory/ euro" frame of mind. I thought I was bad, but turns out Im not. Its just that I rarely see a modified E30 (of the millions I see beat to shit) thats modded cleanly, but the people here take that a little too far for my taste. Eh, whatever, Im rambling. Im not criticising anyone at all, its just an observation. Most people want

                              Euro 15"ers / BBS RS1's
Euro bumpers (early)/Mtech 2 or Euro bumper trim (late)
Hella smileys or non, smoked or clear
                              Mtech 1/2 rear spoiler
etc etc. you ger my point. Kinda made me feel ordinary when I finally got the RS1's I had been dreaming about since I was 10. Fuck it, I still love em.......for shoooooo (40 yr. old virgin)
