    First e30

    This is my 1987 325i e30
I currently have the 2.7 eta stroker m20 in it. For me personally I think it has a good amount of power but that's cuz I went from a automatic Mitsubishi lancer Es haha! This is my first stick rwd project car. The owner before said that the original paint was fucked so he badly sanded and re painted it with red/ orange primer on top of original paint then did the zebra as a project with his girlfriend. He was building it as his track slut and was dailyin it and it ended up stripping the rear adapters (that's why I photoshopped the rear wheels on that pic to see what it looked like.) when I bought it it had a pretty clean body. Very empty, no back seat or center console, or carpet, all the door panels were taken off. He made a ghetto straight pipe that was very badly ghetto rigged on and fell off on me when I was driving around haha! So it's running only headers. (It's so fucking loud!) he also cut the apex lowering springs so It was super low.
What I am planning to do is paint it, I'm thinkin a gun metal grey or some shade of grey. Probably gunna be painting it sometime soon.
Investing in coilovers prob in the next month or so, gunna get a rear bumper and front bumper for the valence. Fix the turn signals on front, put windshield wipers in, I'm gettin new rear adapters later this month so I can put the rear style 5's on. I know eventually I wanna do a s50 motor or the m50 not sure when or which one yet.
After I had it for a week or so I put a back seat In the center console,
I started to somewhat buff the paint on the hood to make it a little less rough but I just decided to stop and just re paint! Looking to invest in a new exhaust as well pretty soon and new headers. Gunna get a new clutch, new control arms, need to replace a lot of bushings haha
I am definitely wanting to drift it but mostly want to make it look as clean as I can. I have been in love with e30's since I was a kid, I kinda wish I bought a cleaner one at first but I have learned to appreciate this one and it's sort of like a blank canvas for me to learn a lot more about cars and how to fix them. And to have that satisfaction of looking at before and after pictures when I am done!
I would definitely like some tips and help from a lot of you guys!!
I have a long way to go but I am excited.
Oh and her name is Lillian, Lilly for short! Haha

    Check it out!

I wish I could legally drive my car with no bumpers, wipers, and half the lights gone. Late model valence on diving board car minus the diving board?

woah buddy, you think i did this to this e30? i bought it like this buddy, the guy before me ruined the paint and painted the zebra. It is obviously a project like i said. You keep hating and just wait till it is done then you wont be hating. And i will drive my BMW with pride.
you should probably figure out the whole story before you hate on other peoples cars.

Welcome to the Bay Area e30 seen mazie30.
It will help you out if you put a bit more detail into your post, let people know more about your car, and what your plans for it are. Other wise people will be forced to make their own assumptions. For example, you say your car has so much power. What motor? Maybe explain a bit about where you got the car, what modification it has, and what your plans are for it down the road. Thats usually what people have in a thread when they introduce their car. You can edit your original post and add a few details.
I am not in SF now but will be back mid September. If you would like any help working on your car or just want to go for a drive some time let me know. My self and my friend mr2peak both have done a good amount of work on these cars, and I also own a MIG welder if you ever need anything welded. I am in San Rafael (when I am home) and mr2peak is in SF.
                              Cheers
