    My First E30

Hey everyone, i'm new here to r3vl. i have done some research but want to get some advice from people who have experienced it first hand. I just want to know what kind of mods and improvements i can do to my e30 to make it funnier to drive. I just got this car about 4 weeks ago from a family friend for free. so what ever i can do to it will be an improvement.

No turbo. I say 5 speed swap, suspension, a chip, 325i exhaust, 3.25 LSD differential and it'll be a fun little daily with good mpg.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

suspension will be one of the first things i do. i noticed i have a bad left front strut. also i need a rebuilt or re-manufactured steering rack. mine has a pretty sizeable leak coming from the passenger side boot, any idea on where i could get one?

Guten parts usually has fresh rebuilds in stock. You may also want to check with BluntTech, they have good pricing too.

If I was going to replace my rack, I would go with a Z3 unit instead. You may want to consider using one of those or an E36 M3 rack.
