First, my favorite vehicle in attendance (okay, the 507 was cool, too):

              At the Hawthorne:

              A genuine 2002turbo:

The Pastelblau E21 is a `78 that is with under 100K miles and is currently driven by the 16-year-old daughter of the original owner. The family is local to the show. They saw it last year and decided to enter it this year. She just learned that her car is an E21.

              Best vanity plate there (Turbo'd E28 ):

This E21 get more and more ridiculous every year.

              And my car:

I won the "Best Patina" trophy, which was pretty cool.

                You deserved the win clay!
Did you get that clunking noise figured out? Saw you drive off Friday night after dropping the car back down, but forgot to ask if it worked.

The repair seems to have worked. The transmission brace was bent, causing the driveshaft to shift under load. I removed it, we bent it back, and I reinstalled it. No clunking since!

Scott says it was 304 cars on Saturday!

I thought it was a little tight.

Come to v@v. I am sure that socalvintage is awesome, but there's something about this meet. Small enough to still be intimate, large enough to have choices o events. Scott does a phenomenal job, and Winston Salem is a blast.
