New M3!!!! and a Day/Night at the shop

Well, around 2PM this bearded old fellow drove up to my shop with this on his flatbed, and asked me if I wanted it.....

Sure, why not i say.


So we stand around for about 30 min trying to decide what to do with this car.... drinking beers to make sure we can all arrive at the same correct decision. around 3PM


Let's pull the interior and engine out! i don't know why, but lets do it anyway

In the middle of parts removal our Russian "friends" from the "body shop" next to our shop wandered over (with vodka and cigars in hand) trying to convince us to stop what we are doing.... they can fix the car, they love M3 BMW. (didn't get any pictures of them, should have though) about5-6pm



Now the engine is out, there is plenty of room to remove all of THIS! 8ish


As the shell sits on the lift, we scratch heads, go to Red Robin... eat....return.... how do we remove the shell from the lift?.... more scratching.... some beers..... a little more scratching..... Sawzall+Air Saw+Cut Off Toll+Sawzall+Hammer+BF Pry Bar+More Beers=


Now what are we to do with this?


Cutting took ~1.5 hours, and we ended up finishing about 1 or 1:30..... pretty sure i will get owned by photobucket pretty soon

The engine is going in my brothers 91 318iS (alpine white)....
I am doing a 5lug swap and using the brakes/steering rack.... can you say J Line?
The interior is being sold.

It was planned, and the car was not free.... but selling the interior and other parts it might come close.

There are already putting it in a car, s50's arnt that hard to come by, and not that much either, i was reading that people get the engine and tranny for around 2500, correct me if im wrong, but make sure you get all the wiring and stuff, or else that engine could be useless, because the wiring harnesses, are pretty expensive
