    Been a while...

I was able to snap a few pics after school today.

Photographers - Why did a ton of my pictures come out with a lot of noise? What settings should I use with my camera (in general)?

    Thanks.

Beautiful. Don't ever change a thing cosmetically.

          IIRC it's calypso.

I like how the light in those pics play with the paint.

Yeah, thought i never saw that color before, in some pictures depending on light with lsb, it does the same thing, at night people get fooled and think its a way darker blue, at meets people have asked if the car got another respray

man, it has been a while.

what ISO was set at? could have been the reason for some of the noise.

I demand you take pics of your car with some good white balance, oh, and sell me your style 5's.

Thanks everyone. Yes the color is Calypso.

Mike- I will have to check what the ISO setting was at. I was using one of the manual settings and might have messed with that setting.

What camera are you shooting with Aaaron? If it was a digital SLR, shoot in RAW next time you are in orange light, its easier to adjust the white balance on your computer than at the scene.

For still night shots with a tripod, go with a 50 or 100 iso. Long shutter speeds are key. I just experiment till I get near where I want it to be, then bracket my shots.

The shots look good compositionally, they are just underexposed. Photoshop can help that out. I tried to do it on one of your pics but they are too compressed already, I'd need the original files.

EDIT, nevermind, Canon Powershot S2. The second image was at f2.7 with a 1 second shutter. I'd say reducing your ISO and lengthening your shutter should solve the problem.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Thanks TJ. I will try that next time. I might tinker with the pics in PS later today and I will post them up.
