happy e30th birthday

.. the 30th birthday of my e30, that is.

To celebrate, we went on a drive on the PCH and Skyline in the morning.







It was a bit cloudy and clammy at first but got nice out as the day went on.

Then, dropped into a local taqueria to pick up lunch...



and to the shop!



and then after a long day of rubbing 10 years of oxidation out of its paint and fixing various remaining issues, we went home.

nope, that one was a sedan, and died some time ago, sadly.

hah man I wish I was done. I am like 1/8th of the way done applying love to this paint. Considering paying someone else to love it instead, because my love elbow is tired.

by the way, its name is Honky, (somewhat) lovingly christened by my friend after experiencing the terrible, annoying horn it has.
