    Saving an M3

Well, I guess it's about time to share my recent couple months of putting together my newest addition after a couple years of abandonment, hopefully the pictures will sort of speak for themselves. it's come a long way in a short time but i still have a long way to go!

Big thanks to Castro's for helping me with the bumper and fender, as well as many friends for their efforts in bringing her back to the road; Jim E. is truly a saint.

    Every r3v'rs dream random find:

    Coming together!

the previous owner rear-ended a truck and parked it in his parents' driveway over three years ago - avoided insurance and repair to keep the title clear. it was a high hit and the core support took the entirety of the blow thankfully.

How long did you stay on him/her before sale? How much? What year?

i was looking at a 318 vert he was selling, and after i had passed on it we got to bullshitting and he mentioned the M3 in conversation. a few days later we hashed out a price over text and i towed her home.

                        it's a '90, originally d-schwartz...clean title!

thanks for all the kind words. right now i'm just dailying it around until i feel ready for paint/body. i don't mind driving her a little ratty for now!
