The A-pillar trim and windshield are M3 specific.

well yes. but so are 100s of other items. as i find i need to replace anything with rust on it. the bill is adding up on my m3 so fast. everything from suspension parts to exhaust hangers, everything seems to cost a fortune.
m3 doors are different also.

Yep, I was fortunate that a whole lot of the maintenance was done previously; just belts/tensioners/fluids/filters. I was able to jump right into the cosmetics. I don't think I've ever had an e30 where that was the case.
