          No problem running a cheap filter when you are going to change the oil in less than 500 miles anyway in my opinion.

            A buddy of mine used a Fram filter on his Brand new engine rebuild.. spun rod bearings after 100 miles.. cut the filter open oil filter pleats were separated aka one end not attached to the other end.. allow anything and everything to bypass the filter elements and go straight into the engine.. never will i touch a fram oil filter

              likely not the cause of engine failure. It was builder error.

                But what if it wasn't builder error at all. What if the builder pissed off the fram guy by pushing him on the playground in school and not offering him a bandaid in first grade and so the fram guy grew up and that was his revenge on the builder.

                        A buddy of mine used a fram filter then his fiancé cheated on him with his best friend. Fram filters ruin happy families.
