    More small stuff. Painted the mirrors and the original grills. I though about getting new grills but the original one still had the factory stickers on them and were with the car from day one. Used Mahle paint on both. Turned out well.




    Put on some BBS valve stem caps I had sitting around:




    Next step is finding new seats and cleaning the rear parcel tray. Once that's done and I can get it back to WA ill take the entire suspension out and go through it and then call it a day.

      Clean. Ive had my eye on this car's twin, a henna 1984 318i in CT thats been sitting at a repair shop since June. Finally got in contact with the owner

        More updates from a few weeks ago:

        Removed the dead under hood padding:



        Installed new:



        I think the padding was for an early model 325. It was sitting around the garage so i figure this was better than the bad stuff that was on there.

        No trim on the rear lip for the trunk:


        New (to me) piece from the junk yard. Perfectly clean and then I repainted it:


        Cowel and wipers were bad:



        Removed and cleaned things up:


        Painted and reinstalled:


        Plus some proper Bosch wiper blades (not the Napa shit that was on there):


        Lookin better:




        Wipers need adjusting, but it's coming along.
