    Pretty good find

I was looking on CL this morning at cars as I usually do and I came across an ad for an 84 318i with "low miles". I clicked m the ad and sure enough there was an e30 that was straight with 111k on it since new with a clean title... And it was henna by the looks of it. Long story short, I drove out to rural Oregon and was met with a very dirty, but very complete, low mileage henna red 84 318i.

Bought it on the spot. Car was FILTHY. A few shots of how bad it was:

Got it home and washed/waxed her. The henna paint is in great shape with a clear title/all original paint work - at 111k it's very low mileage for an 84:

    Washed:

    Un-waxed paint:

    Waxed paint:

    Mileage - odo works:

    Gettin there:

    Pretty stoked about this one!

The car is too complete and unmolested to mod it. It's going to be slowly restored and added to the BMW hoard in the interim.

That's my conflict. I thought about restoring it and selling it to another enthusiast but I think I'll kick myself the next time I see one and wish I still had it - even with the m10.
