Thats true, I like the idea of having something a bit different from the iS lip but I will break it off at some point so we'll see. It's getting painted for sure. Now if only you could take some sweet pics of my car THAT would be bad ass!

God forbid people here have individuality.

My suggestion would be that if you rock the rieger lip, you do something on the trunklid to "balance it out." I like it when cars that have busy lips on the front (iS lip, Rieger, etc.) have a spoiler on the trunk as well to keep the back end as interesting. Your call though. Always love your car.

I agree, i was thinking mtech1 or iS rear spoiler would be a nice addition to it as well. I haven't decided yet what i will do with the rear but we will have to see its one or the other.

Beautiful car. Leave it black, you always the IS lip to turn to if you don't like it.

Since he will be adding painted iS sideskirts, an element of the body that carries color farther down to level with a lower front lip, if he were to leave the lip black in favor of "contrast," disregarding the fact that the color and shine of his car truly demands no added visual flare anyway, only to placate the opinions of those who are fascinated by such a weak value of automobile design, would I consider such a decision the characteristic of one unable to think for themselves and rely on input from others. A tool.

I know, I'm a dick. But I never mean to offend. I like to be rational and strict. You're probably gonna delete this anyway, so whatever...

I plan on heading to Florida during my spring break in the E30. I'll stop by Sarasota, seriously. Trip might suck, but its better than going to CRAPSSACHUSETTS...

Andy, the car looks hot, finished product will be better.

Who the fuck cares - your car is going to be beautiful whether the lip is painted or not - I say don't paint it, because I give it all of 6 days before you break the fuckin thing off and run it over (where's Gillany?) - either that or your first trip to El Amesbury Hackzors for our fun-time meets and coastal cruises ;)

Me: When you gonna drop Magnum on us, buddy?
Andy: Not yet. You gotta tame the beast before you let it out of its cage.

                    - paint the lip
                    -mtech 1 rear spoiler
                    -shadowline
                    -that is all

Your car is very clean, i really like the look of it. I just think that by leaving the rieger lip black it won't look quite as clean. Anything larger than an mtech 1 wing would be less than clean and simple.. and so far thats what your car is (and i'm a fan of that). Shadowline i think would help just simply to match the black on the rest of the car.

The car is really clean how it is though, the rest of this stuff is just gravy.

Chrome window trim ties together the polished wheel lips nicely, no shadowline.

As for the rear spoiler, I like the clean lines of your car without, but I love the techI so you couldn't go wrong with it.

IF post-install you decide you don't like the "is" skirts, let me know, I'll take 'em off your hands;) .

I'm down anytime, we'll have to gave a big g2g in te spring.

I don't think I will do shadowline on the trim, it matches the lip of the wheels that i have and i like the look.

I strongly disagree. My car with painted mouldings and very little contrast is clean and smooth looking. My car has plenty of character. Lip needs to be painted for sure but he knows that.

Thats what the bunper trim is for. Paint the lip. Looks unfinished and rice-tacular unpainted. Like its half assed and like all those fucking Hondas running around with urathane colored front and rear bumpers and the rest of the car candy flake light blue. Have some class, lol. :D
