Always been a little confused what the SAUR. one was meant for, believe it is manifold pressure but why would you need that when it was N/A.

There is a bit of a story behind the dash guage. It stopped working I believe when some work was done on the car but a new one was sourced. Got the receipt for it somewhere (this was before I owned it).

The pictures on the gumtree look more than reasonable but obviously in the flesh very different.

New plugs arrived today now the fun starts to try and fit them.

Will try to get a photo of the exhaust over the weekend it is a work of art.

Sweet to see those rare Alpina parts on your 333i.

Hi. I'm from South Africa. Unfortunately this car is in terrible condition. Its at the dealer down the road from me. Good ones are hard to find. Only a few left.

My dad had a silver 333i when i was little. Wish he kept his stuff.

I imagine its cheap, cause the Rand went for a ball of shit the last 2 months. R10.50 for $1. A good 333i will set you back R150 000 so. $15 000

Does your 333i have a Alpina cluster and Alpina vent gauge?

Manifold is part oem bmw that has been flipped to make top mount. However this causes access issues to the plugs. Have owned the car since 1999 but it has been dry stored for 13 years. Passed MOT on first attempt and now going over a few things on it. Went to change the plugs for the first time and this is when I realised the access issues. Toying with changing the manifold to remove this issue but then obviously we have a major plumbing job to do and will need a remap which then leads to more issues as the ECU is a Zytek with limited support.

What turbo manifold and downpipe is that? Looks like a nice setup.

Yes it is an original 333i imported into the uk in the 80's. Turbo'd in the 80's and 90's.
