my nice lookin, slow, but fun to drive eta- W00t!!!

Here is my slow eta. I have to admit, this car is a blast in the canyons. Car is sittin on bilstein sports / ie3 springs. Car is awaiting new control arms, p/s rack, tie rods, THR CABS, e12 modified motor mounts. Then the car is off for sale. I still need to fix my rear euro bumper to align it and fix exhaust hangers to sit more upwards in the tunnel. I also still needa finish my rims, i'm not even half way done. They look like shit atm, i needa touch them up and make them look awesome. Anyways, on with the pics. Oh btw, sorry about some of the crappy pics :/

Very nice. Black w/black mesh wheels is so old school, I love it.

Wow...I really like the overall look of the car. Not really crazy about the pea-shooter exhaust though. Have you thought about going with something with nicer looking tips? Euro bumps look good.

There's no school like the old school

I dont like the ugly exhaust neither, it just came with the car and i never got aroudn to replacing it. I will sometime soon hopefully, but i just have a busy schedule and i'll be installing all that shit i mentioned previously so it's not one of my priorities. When i get aroudn to it, i'll go to a local junkyard and pick up some oem exhaust and just slap it on for the moment. I'm not planning to keep this car for long b/c i feel that i need a 325i :)

What size wheels and tires do you have?

just do the i swap, it really isn't very hard, especially if you get the engine out of a coupe

and yeah...that car makes me want euro bumpers so badly.

god damn it makes a difference. I'll probably end up tucking mine though with new trim and take the cheap way out.

looks good, early euro bumpers are soooo much better than diving boards. I think you could stand to go another inch lower though (too much fender gap and front/rear aprons are way off the ground). I would just swap in an i motor (assuming your chassis is clean with no rust/accidents), early cars are just as nice as later ones.

i got the stupid new version ie3 springs which i was very unhappy about. I think the reason why it lokos so jacked up is b/c of my tire size (195/60/14). The 65 series tires looked better and it was flush more with the fenders. And that is the reason why i want to sell the car, because it has been in an accident and the only rust issue i have is under my pass. side carpet. about 6 months ago i realized the pass. side was filled with water and i fixed that. Just surface rust atm, in which i fixed myself.

I might take that into consideration....i know it is a fairly straight forward swap, but the only reason why i considered buying another e30 is b/c i have a fetish for late model e30s....
