I'm ok for the most part. I was shocked for the first minute or two, but came around after all. My left wrist is a bit tweaked but will be ok in the end. I drink milk.
The wheels are 13s and are probably salvageable. Pretty pissed that I put in a new transmission and clutch kit 3 days ago. Oh well.
I actually really liked this car a lot. I planned on restoring it. It's nice to see a clean e21 on the road.
Yes I am insured. I plan on going through her insurance completely though. She is a corporate Honda employee and drove a company vehicle. I will give them a call on Monday and go from there.
Surfed excellent waves all morning, had chipotle, cashed a hefty company check for a company I started two months ago... figured it was going to be a good saturday... I guess that wasn't the plan.
Bummer dude, glad to hear you are ok. Odds are, insurance will total the car. They like to do that. If anything I'd see about trying to settle without involving the insurance. Most likely you can't, but if you can, that would be the way to go. Otherwise the odds of your car getting totaled are very high.
I don't plan on going through my insurance. I'm sure Honda Motor Co. of America is more than happy to settle. Especially since it was a company employee driving a company car, who is 100% at fault.
