    One Year Of Ownership l '88 325iS

Almost exactly a year ago I purchased my first E30. I was lucky to find this car locally from the second owner who had owned it since 1993 & kept every record.

The big highlights of my first year included:
    A full tune up
    A fresh, rebuilt head
    Timing belt, water pump
Oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, cam seals
Z3 1.9 SSK, Condor bushings, ZHP weighted shift knob

After getting the car into top mechanical shape, I wanted to focus on the aesthetics and finally get rid of those awful diving boards.

    Before:

    After

I love the car & hope to never sell it. November 9th will start my drive cross-country to my new home in Seattle.

Thanks! Just iS side skirts, euro grills, trim and rear plate filler + shadowline trim will complete the exterior for me.

Thanks! The car is actually lachs silver. It definitely looks Cirrus-y in some of the pictures though :)

Car looks great. I really do love the 88 DB look though. Polished up with the trim lined up proper I think they look amazing.

                      Props none the less.

Car looks great! Seeing this picture makes me consider actually going with a color matched IS lip instead of a black IS lip. I never understood why the 88 Is' had the I lip and not their own IS lip
