Thanks guys! I'm still torn on the mirrors. I'll leave them on for Archiesfest and get some opinions in person!

Negative on the mirrors. Narrow body Schnizzle cars didn't run them and nor should you.

        Example:

I actually think that DTM mirrors work better with the Mt2 kit, particularly the vented versions.

I agree with Ray. On your particular car with the M tech 2 kit, I prefer the stock mirrors for that OEM ++ look. I think ACS mirrors look awesome on the M3 since it's flares are rounded but somehow they just don't seem right with the M tech 2. It may just be the narrow body as Ray stated. I believe ACS mirrors angle upward naturally by design and that kind of looks weird with the straight lines of the M Tech kit.

                Either one works

The stock ones provide some degree authenticity...very clean, simple expected lines.....but honestly, this needs to be seen in person as angle shots etc adds some esthetic distortion. Your wheels for example look huge in the pictures but in real life, they look much smaller in person, perfect actually. I'm voting for the stock mirrors if I really needed only to keep one based on these pictures for what's it worth.

I am however, happy to test them with my ACS kit if Matt wants to send the mirrors to me :)

I'll likely go back to the stock mirrors! Going to leave these on for Archiesfest though.

Stock mirrors or otherwise, it's your E30! I think yours is one of THE sweetest E30s out there! Wish I could cruise SoCal in my E30.

I actually just sold them a couple days ago.

I'm happier with the looks and visibility of the stock mirrors!
