I never wanted to own a red car but I'd make an exception for this one :)

    Thank you.

I actually just sold the Porsche fans. They were several inches too tall and I just couldn't get myself to cut them apart. So, fans are on hold but the wheels are ready for them nonetheless.

i had thought you refurbished your rims. but now you said they are brand NEW lips. are new lips still available? in other words, they are then assembled.

i have decided to remove the clear coat. any idea what to get from supermarket to do this job? i am also debating whether to have the lips removed in order to spray paint the spoke

    thanks again
    PM me

That is not the case with mine since they are brand new lips. You don't want to spray clear over a polished surface - it will be prone to peeling and will dull the finish. The clear coat (paint or powder) really needs a rough surface to adhere to, hence the machined finish on factory RS lips. You can do it, but it's not a permanent solution in my opinion.

in my case i have some oxidation and chip marks. so the coating is broken exposing aluminium.

Caps are brand new, they were around $30 each IIRC.

are the caps new or also refurbished? how much did you pay for the caps? the red color is so gorgeous looking it is a perfect fit on e30. significantly sexier than black color.

    thanks
