    Finished up the mirrors today. I attached the glass with 3M Super Strength Molding Tape.

    So there's no factory made gasket for these DTM mirrors and the original mirror gasket is way too large. Not exactly sure what to do about that. I might have to make my own. You can see the line on the molding where the original gasket was. If I leave it this way, wind and water are going to get behind the tweeter.

    All 4 centers are BBS RS 212. Rears are built to 197 specs. Brand new lips and barrels all around.

    17x9.5 et13

    I will source and include black caps, but I'm keeping these red ones for another RS build.

    Yeah that's a good call. Markus suggested using body glue or windshield glue, I suppose either will work. I don't really know the differences between them but I'll probably just use a good silicon adhesive.

    I'm fairly certain I used a silicon adhesive. It's waterproof and by nature fills low areas on the mating surfaces to get virtually 100% coverage. It may be a good idea to scuff the backs of the mirrors and backing plates (and then clean with rubbing alcohol) before applying adhesive?
