Haha! You may be right! It's really a blast to drive. I previously built a Chevy S-10 with an LS1, and this is faster and handles worlds better, obviously. Really a fun little car, turns lots of heads too. Thanks man!

Have you tried this on a track yet?

I haven't tracked it yet but at some point I'd like to. I'm currently working on my own solution for getting power brakes and I'd like to have that in the car before tracking it. It's a hell of a lot of fun on a twisty back road though!

Currently in the process of converting to 330i brakes, according to the calculator I used:

The 330i brakes will roughly double my braking force. I'll let you know how it feels after I'm done... I assume your brakes are like mine right now, aka worthless.

Cool man. I assume you're going 5 lug then? Or do you plan to run a different 4 lug rotor?

Yep, doing a 5lug, but only to do a cheap BBK. Using the Lithuanian hub adapters in the front, z3 hubs in the rear. After everything's said and done you're paying about the same price as Massive's front & rear sport kit, but you get a set of wheels & tires for free, plus off-the-shelf parts availability, which is a big deal for me. I think you also get some more braking torque, as the 330i rotors are almost 1" larger than the sport kit. I guess the downside is that the cooling capacity is worse with the 330i brakes.

Nice, thanks for the info. If I ever decide to go 5 lug I'd consider it, and I agree with you about using off the shelf parts for availability. Right now I'm not ready to ditch my wheels so I'll have to come up with another solution. I'm fabbing up a system to run a 633csi hydroboost setup so we'll see how that goes. I'm just trying to get some kind of booster assist because manual brakes aren't fun on the street!
