I really want a set of these for my car, but don't want to go 5 lug. Where are you PA/NY/MD/DE/NJ guys getting them filled and drilled, and what is the approximate cost? I guess since I'd only need to ship the centers, I could probably affordably send them anywhere in the U.S. to have them done.... Any suggestions?

Unfortunately i had to send mine out to place in California. Ive heard rumors that a place around NYC was doing it. that was 2.5 years ago already so the cost might be higher but i remember paying 50 dollars a wheel. They also needed me to send one barrel I guess so they could mock it up in the machine. Think i payed about $170 in shipping to CA since it was about a 40-50lbs box.

Thanks. I emailed Memory Fab in CA, they just got back to me, said its $95 per wheel to redrill, using steel inserts for the holes that overlap. It would also require tuner bolts because of the large hub bore being so close to the lug holes.

Another question: Are all 2 piece style 5 centers identical other then hub bore? Even the 17x7.5 et41 version? I ask because those 7.5's are apparently available new for $120/each. I could buy them, ditch the barrels, have brand new factory finish centers for $500, then find the 8/9" barrels to mount them too. I just need to verify that the offset will be that of a factory 8" wheel. The final setup I'm looking for is 17x8 et20 and 17x9 et26.

I'm in the last steps of rebuilding mine. I have the centercaps to paint and I'm waiting for the powder coater to re-powdercoat the bolts. I built my own little machine to be able to polish the barrel without face on it, I'd have to say it was a life saver. Had them filled and drilled by Lugman USA in Jacksonville, Florida.

I believe the only way to put these on a non-M e30 with a 5-lug setup has to be using the E30 M3 5-Lug parts. Using E36 5-Lug parts with the RC090 on E36 5-Lugs will not work due to the E36 hubs sticking out a little further than the stock E30 hubs.

Haha, that's awesome! What did they charge for the fill and drill?

I paid $550 for the fill and drill on (5) rims. He also machined the back of the rims for me where it meets the hub and he gave me a full set of tuner lugs to go with it.

Lies. I ran RC090 on 215/40 for 3 years on E36 M front, Ti rear.

Actually...you're right. You can run RC090s on non M e30s on E36 5 lugs...if you want your wheels to poke out.

Still not true. Even with 5mm spacers. No poke. Please don't spread information you don't know the facts on. If you don't have an e36 5 lug setup and rc090s you don't know what you're talking about.

                            Thanks.

Yeah, et20 is about the max I can go with the 4 lug stuff with a 17x8 and 215/40/17, and I know the 5 lug setup brings the wheel out 15-20mm further. I have shortened struts with lots of travel, I'd be ripping my fenders apart. I could run more negative camber, but then I'm just wasting tires. It would take an additional 2-2.5* to get the top of the wheel to come in 15-20mm.

I'm definitely going to do a fill and drill, or just a redrill. I'm currently running 17x8 et20 and 17x9 et25 ESM wheels, which are 100% perfect fitment for me, so the 17x8 et20 and 17x9 et26 style 5's are going to be identical, if redrilled.

I think his point was that you will be limited to stretched tires and rolled fenders at the least. It doesn't technically 'fit', you have to make it fit. 215's in the rear would not work for me. I need 235's. Therefore et20 17x8's on 318ti rear susp does not work (for me).

And the fronts seems just as bad, as I mentioned in my previous post. Sure it could be done by sacrificing suspension travel, springs rates, or camber. But that's not ideal...
