Since January last year. I'm back in Aus on holiday now but last year I was working at VW design just outside Berlin. Next year I'll be in stuttgart for a few months for work before likely heading back to Berlin. I'm a freelance clay modeller.

Here are a couple shots of the brakes/wheels with the centrecaps that arrived today. Also the 75mm stud kit from Motorsport Hardware.
                Cheers!

so the first pictures on page 1 are with -60mm lowering springs? or was it already on coilovers? that look is exactly what I'm trying to go for.

Is the difference between open face vs caps Alpina wheels the depth of the center lug area? Open face looks more "flush" with the wheel.

Car is looking great James. You'll enjoy the R1R's on Melbourne streets, good amount of grip and still usable when wet.

Cheers mate, yes its on lowtec in all the pictures, coil overs have not been installed yet.

Sorry not sure i understand your question.. But as I said these are OZ Racing wheels, they have lower offset and a deeper lip around the rim the the Ronal alpinas, the spokes also "flare out" at the ends. I believe these originally had large centrecaps but I prefer the look of open lugs, particularly with the new stud kit :P
                        Cheers!

Thanks a lot mate. I've already noticed the R1r's are a huge improvement over My T1R's.. despite actually being a little smaller!

Love the car! Surprisingly the pin-stripe really accents it well
