Personally I like gold centers on black cars, however I really like the look of alpina wheels on a black M3 over all the other options you suggested.

It's period correct, and suits the E30 M3 well. I like them on E30 M3's and Alpha 155's and that's about it!

great job on the seats and rescuing the car.
this was prob one of the biggest surprises of all... maybe the fact that the car hadn't been washed in years, the layer of dirt somehow preserved the paint...? but I will admit that it took some work to get it the way it looks now...

hmm... I don't know... the tail pipes also stick out alot, I think I'd like the look more if they were tucked in a little...

If your M3 is as good as it looks on the photos, and considering the price, then its crazy.
I was searching an E30 M3 in Germany too.
People charge 30.000 euros for M3 that are only can be used to be completly rebuild, totaly dead cars.
Very cool that you save this M3 and make it looking great again. :)

                  Gold centers would be awesome!
Also nice work on the seats man.

Rear spoiler with flip would be a nice detail.

wasting no time... the Style 5's are disassembled and stripped...:D

I was considering DIY'ing the polishing aswell, but decided to have it professionally done next week.

as for the centers... I'm leaning towards a darkish matte gold... I love the contrast

I'm ordering tires today. Any suggestions as far as size goes? I'm leaning towards 215/40 17's...?

If you look for photos from "02fanatic" in this thread you will see a car with style 5's using 235's in the rear, and 215's in the front.
                              Below the radar...

Nice looking car dude and congrats on the steal.. you make me jealous on that price you paid and for the condition of the car.
And that's the tire size that are on my style 5's.
