the seats man, how did you recondition the seats?! they really do look incredible.

I'm too jealous to comment on the rest of your situation =P

i'm pretty set on this red tape thing... but don't worry, the electrical tape will be replaced by some proper vinyl ;) . I already have the red BBS center caps and I just might keep the red Schroth harnesses.

Very nice. I would add a bit of negative camber in the front and would look even better and take corners, well, better!

The OE red tape from the dealer is not that expensive, and it's cut/rounded to fit the bumper recess ends/corners. Well worth it.

                  Car looks nice!

That looks so bad ass I love it! But I think it looked better without the tape...

So this week I finally decided to put the interior back together.

First order or business was the c-pillar covers, the vinyl had separated from the actual cover. It looked horrible when looking through the rear window into the car. Turns out that you have to take out the rear side windows to remove the c-pillar covers...:loco: I had these recovered to look OEM

                        before:

                        during:

                        after:

the next thing that bothered me where the miss matched door panels... I bought the car with grey cloth door panels in the front and extended leather one's in the rear. the original plan was to pick up extended leather front panels, unfortunately I couldn't find any for sale!
What I did find where some 100% mint black vinyl panels. No scratches, tears or indents... they look 100% factory new. So I made a compromise and bought these to have everything look nice and tidy...:D

                        before:

                        after:

the carpet was completely cleaned and it was time to put the freshly refinished seats back in. I spent the time to fix / refinish a bunch of little things in the interior... I would say that now it is about 90% perfect!

Nice to see you scored a great car for a good price. Great story and congratulations!

What did you use on the seats? They are looking great.

Also wondering if you bought new c pillars or redid them yourself. Those came out great as well. :)

Love seeing updates on this car. The pictures in post #125 look like a perfect setup, carbon flap on the rear spoiler and think front splitter would be the only things I would look to add. Inside, original premium sound speaker covers on the rear deck and the chrome rings around the instruments removed would be two things I'd do away with.

Are you going to bring it to the E30 M3 Treff in Geiselhoering this year? Largest E30 M3 meet in the world if I'm not mistaken.. definitely in Europe.
