awesome story. gotta persist! i love it when things work out for the best. covered in dirt, flat tires, abandoned for years on the street would still probably pull 20k in the states.Originally posted by blunti called my 17 yo paperboy "sugartits" in a christmas card 3 years ago. he never came back and im not joking.

well... so much for having the wheels polished next week...:nice: my brother in law and I decided to tackle it on our own this weekend.
I'm glad we did it ourselves, the outcome is perfect and it just feels so much better when you know you did things with your own two hands!

haha...
thanks for the hint... but I already have one on order, should be here next week. It may just be a piece of paper... but I just think it's too cool to not buy.

thanks! your wheel / tire setup looks perfect. :pimp:
because having a tire that's to meaty looks horrible, same thing goes for tires that are too skinny... I'm just trying to find the perfect balance between the two.

Great story! Didn't know that even in te motherland was hard to get these M3's. Mine is a euro 87 as well, DiamondSchwarz but I changed the color to NogaroSilver since I had previously another DS M3 (US specs) before. I paid arround $3700....but you better don't ask how I got the car and how much time and money I threw at it.
Is not news that these cars are going up in value every day pass and many people want the, though, they want to pay little. I have few interested guys in my car, possible the mintest e30 m3 in my country and I just can't get rid off it.
You seen to have a solid M3! Enjoy it fixing it, upgrading it, and most important, driving the hell out of it with respect!

There was a mass exodus of E30 M3's from Germany to Britain in the early 2000's when the euro was down and the pound was very strong. It would cost the same to buy a German E30 M3 and bring it to England or buy a nice 325i already on the island.Comment

finding one is the main problem here, the people that have one hold on to it... if they do decide to sell, the price to pay is insane. The cheapest cars you can find in Germany currently go for around 20000€... even if they don't run or have rust problemsGreat story! Didn't know that even in te motherland was hard to get these M3's. I see. At least there is a "bunch" of them compared to my country that only we have about 5-6 euros M3's and probably still running 3-4 US specs M3 and that's it. Everyone want one. I got calls/emails randomly asking if I know of any for sale.
These cars are a keeper, unless someone offer you a ton of cash that might change your mind.Euro M3'87 NogaroSilver/Euro E34 M5 '93/Porsche 993 TT 97' Euro/Porsche 993 Carrera 95' Euro/Skyline R33 GT-R
