    Oil pans don't write off your car forever though, unlike a bent frame - given the skid plate hangs down so low, you are far more likely to hit things that you would have cleared otherwise... how much ground clearance do you have with it? An inch?

      Yes, Maybe Less. Lets just say I have routes which have the smoothest roads.
