It's not my car, but those taillamps do look ridiculous. That bend might be repairable...is there any shimmy at higher speeds?

no need to repair. those lips are only like 100ish a piece new. looks nice. VW rims FTW! but i cant see why you would mount them on the car if you have a new lip in the garage????

I don't get it... how are people able to say that his taillights look bad when he hasn't even posted a pic of them?

we can just tell from the little itty bit that is showing. hideous tailights can be spotted from miles.

              nice wheels!

Nice! Are you going to put some real tires on them?

they are not bent I will take a pic of the curb rash and the reason that I have them on when there is new lips in the garage is because I am to busy right now to get the tire taken off then bake the gasket off

Rims aren't wide enough, tires aren't stretched enough, and your car isn't low enough to claim the "euro style."

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Yeah. Those rims are Euro on a slammed MKI/II, since they'd poke on the back.

They're technically even less "Euro" than stock E30 wheels (the fronts are wayyyy inside the fenders at 15x6.5 ET33).

As much as I like to talk smack, I'll offer a surefire way to polish the look you have now. Either move the back 15x8s to the front and get new kodiak lips to bring the former front wheels to a 15x9, or get hardcore and space what you have about 15mm front and rear(maybe even 20), lower it another inch, and claim "bent lips add character."
                          . . .

by the way, what the hell are you talking about??? baking gasket off? It is sealed withan RTV type of glue crap. you take the screws out and smack the front ring with a rubberized hammer ever so gently.
get some spacers, and i think it will look perfect. I love BBS 2 or 3 pc wheels!
I understand the no time thing though.

Yep, I feel ya there. Move the 8s up front, and new lips on the back. Nothing like getting some new kodiak lips, wish I could afford the setup.
