Favorite car. Very jealous of a local with a grey market Delphin MT1. They are so awesome. Nice ride.

This is one of the most eye pleasing e30's I've seen in a while. Although I'm finding it hard to explain why.

Not sure, but they look shite on an early m-tech1 e30 imo.

damn good work with the rest. pro shit. what spray did you use to get those tails all-red?

Thanks guys - I think you're right on reflection, i don't like the way the smileys look - I've just seen that you can remove the outer metal rings too - so going to have a go at refurbing myself

Will whip all the front lights off the car when i drop it for service on Saturday and do them during the week!!!

Really nice E30. Ive seen a few Mtech1/euroweaves combo and I must say i love it.

            I got both from ebay!

            RED tails:

I read DIY threads for the all reds as you guys are all in the US the recommended paint is Testors red enamel 'Candy apple red' - I think! although check before. TBH i just bought any red tail light spray - the DIYs are nice to see, but when it comes down to it its just another spray job, just prep well!

            Smoked indicators:

eBay! but then again I'm across the pond so you may have to hunt around a bit, all sorts of stuff on ebay as long as you don't pay stupid Chinese prices and check reviews I've always found the stuff on there great?

Love Delphin and also have an early model. To replace the shit sealed beams I spent some money and got Hella Bi-focus w city lights for the main beam (shown in photo w city lights on) and Cibie for the high. The lights have flat lenses which look very clean and proper.

Looks smart mate, have to do some research on this this week! although wont be doing much, Car has gone into BW chiptune for a big service and a quick look at what else needs replacing with shocks / springs etc!

I love the research part. I know there's a place in your part of the world that has great Cibie beams in 5 3/4" called larkspeed. http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?c=...category&part=
Great Delphin you have there! I'm inspired to take mine on a photo safari and post pictures soon.

Right, so while the car was at the garage they tried to change a rear top mount and one of the rear shocks pissed its stuff everywheeeere!

Obviously I want to avoid buying new shocks without them being the uprated ones so 'unfortunately' they will have to keep the car for another week and do it all!! (£-fuck).

                              Ordering:
Bilstein B12 kit (B8 shocks / Eibach springs)
New (solid rubber not poly) BMW bushes all round
                              M3 Front control arm bush

Anything else you guys might suggest?
