Car looks great except for one thing. It's missing it's nametag. :D

Are those real M5 throwing stars? Do all the wheels spin the same direction? That's what always bothered me about the throwing star replicas, one side was facing the wrong direction.

Do they even make replica 5 lugs?

That would be stupid, simple and plain.

After very careful and meticulous inspection of both sides of the car using the pictures supplied, I conclude that these are 'directional' stars, i.e. they all 'spin' in the proper direction. But couldn't you have looked at them yourself? I mean the pics are right there

Oh, and sweet M3, +1 on the 'needs to be lowered a bit, and paint that valve cover' petition. :D

Thanks guys, lowering will be very soon, I’ve got some H&R Race springs and Bilstein sports waiting to be put on. The tires a 215-40-17’s which are the correct size for the e30, I may stick some 235-40’s in the back, but I hate throwing off the speedo. They are real real throwing stars, (and yes they are on backwards-whoops). I know a lot of guys run them with no covers, but I don’t like that look. I think it looks unfinished(same reason I don’t like basketweaves without the center cap) but to each his own. Yeah, and the more and more I look at the engine, the more I think I’ll stop at the Harley Davidson Dealership for some of their crinkle paint to do the valve cover and all. As for the CF sunroof panel, I got it thru a groupbuy on s14.net, I think it was like $250 and made by a company called Carbon By Design. The quality is top notch, a bit of a pain to install, but well worth it. My old sunroof was rusted thru and this was my best option. Oh and the M3 badge is making its way back on soon, I had the trunk lid painted too when the EvoIII wing was painted and I just have not gotten around to it. Oh and Mike, April 9th it is :)

One more thing, the car just hit 150,000 miles this weekend.

Very nice, are the lips polished? They're so shiny they look chromed.

Gorgeous example of an M3, btw.

Very nice, almost had my mom's polished...but decided on the machine finish. Regardless, yours look nice. Lose the 'Stars, i'd like to see what they look like without.

jeff the car looks awesome.. I love the wheels. At first i was skeptical when i saw them off thecar, but now i think they look excellent.

Not to ruin thoughts of lowering the car, but the stuff you have waiting to go on will bassically do nothing ride height wise for the car. It will perform better, but you will be literally only like 1/6 an inch lower... you need to go koni or GC coils to get down where you might want to go.... you might already know this, but just putting this out there. I had this setup once, and was not pleased with it.

                                Congrats on the 150k!

                                cheers,
