Finally had some nice weather today to get some work done.
    Got around to installing the
    new tie rods,
    control arms,
    treehouse fcabs,
    sway bar end links,
    IE poly sway bar bushings,
rear konis and GC adjustable springs

Still on jack stands upfront, rear springs aren't adjusted, I only had 2 lug bolts on hand, and I forgot the flat cap before I snapped a pic. But I couldn't resist :woo woo:

It was such a nice day that my little friend decided to pay me a visit!
This miniature dragon was living inside of the engine bay when I first looked at the car. He specifically liked the headlight housing but hasn't been seen since the day I towed it home. Apparently he made the 300 car ride home like a champ.
Too see him today and say I was surprised is an understatement.

Oh ya, anyone have any issues running 16x9 et15? I haven't mounted them on the car yet but looks like I might rub the strut, if not miss it by millimeters.

Btw struts are shorted 1.5 or 2 inches, can't remember.

you will need to get a 3mm-5mm spacer or you will hit the housings. Ask me how I know.

Not what I wanted to hear
I'm still going to mount them and see what I'm working with. But before I jump the gun on any spacers, any first hand recommendations?

You said you were also running shorted GCs?
Im just close enough for the wheel and strut the trade paint.

it really depends on the style of the lip on the backside of the wheel. My gotti's would not allow my car to move at 9J+15mm, but were able to move at 9J+13mm

Took the wheel that was hitting, put in on the rear and voilĂ ! Fixed the problem.
The wheel that was hitting has a slight scratch and at one point has a raised edge that was grazing the strut.

They fit now but the clearance area is paper thin. Should this concern me?

Sorry things have been so slow lately, I forgot to mention that I had a surprise visit about a month1/2 ago by these 2 little guys. They were hairless, nothing but bones, and covered with sores. No idea what kind of dogs either of them are but from the looks of it, they have been out in the wild for most of if not their whole lives.

                              meet Daisy

                              and Moose.
Getting them back to normal has been my main priority and has been eating up almost all my time aside from working the graveyard shift.

                              BUT
I did get this done today

PO filled the gap between tails and chassis with some kind of rubber cement/sealant/black tar from hell :hitler:

and I did get these installed :D

Thank UPS for cracking my startecs btw
