Clown Shoe - Progress Thread

Well its not an e30.......but many of my friends have said for awhile that its time to upgrade my daily.....(Saturn) to something a little more fun to drive. I've always loved the looks and lines of the z3 Coupe, but have never seen one in my area. Scanning craigslist last Friday over lunch I did a double take when I came across this.







A farmer no less in middle of no where Iowa owned it. Had it for 5 years and put 9000 miles on it. Odometer reads 115k. Exterior I'd give a 6 or 7/10. Needs a good buff and has a dent in the rocker I'll take care off, headlights need to be polished up or replaced. Interior is a 9/10, about the only complaint is the drivers window sticks a bit and one of the center console flip lids is broke.

I have a lot of goodies that will be going on it over the next couple weeks. First thing to go.....wheels and tires......

M would have been nice, like I said I have never seen one of these local, I'd be bold enough to say I'm the only one in town. I am happy, I got the aluminum 2.8L though.....I have a thing for boost.

Only other one I've seen was a white one on dodge about a year ago.

I like the gold too, but for whatever reason in my mind gold wheels = subaru...

You could go the murdered out look and be black on black, but i think I like the silver one you posted the most.
