    What a week...

Well, the vert is almost finished, but it was a busy week at the garage, so I figured I'd post up some pics of what we were up to...

The red car is a sweet $750 318i - IMO a steal, just a dent on the quarter and not pretty, but reasonable miles and good drivetrain. The guy got a great deal.

Silver car and goofy looking kid wrastling with something under it is Fielding (fifedog) and his minty fresh 91 318is with 78k miles on it. That car kicked our asses - teaching us that you shouldn't let stoners work on control arms.

Few shots of my cabby - a sneak peek of the new interior, as well as some shots from Meineke on the lift today - few odds and ends I needed to get done and didn't have time to do myself.

The loverly oil pan came out of a 91 4 door calypso I have - needless to say, it's the worst I've ever seen. Just plain incredible.

The empty garage pics are just that - pics of my garage bays empty. ANYONE that's been up there, or even knows anything about my place, knows that it's a rarity.

One of the hundreds of times the Wrangler was used as a tow truck...

And lastly, a pic of a destroyed overflow tank from a 99 Z3 2.5 - that happened last night. Guy came up to buy a diff, started shooting the shit, started the car so I could hear the exhaust, left it running for about an hour....fan delete...overheated....overflow tank literally exploded. Sounded like a gun shot...hopefully nothing happened besides that. Time will tell. I came up with the idea of fitting a late style e30 overflow tank, with some different hosing - it fits pretty nice, surprisingly - not a permanent fix, but impressive for an emergency solution  He made it home without an issue.

So is that red car a car you bought or a car you sold? And if you bought it and you don't want the bumpers or trunk (if they fit) I will take them off your hands?

Scott, the pic of that front seat is preamture - we want to see the finished product.

Any luck on the door panels?
