    Minty Fresh 318is

So here are the before and after pics of my suspension/brake overhaul. I did the brakes over Christmas and did the suspension swap this spring break. Now shes back on the road after the winter overhaul.

List of mods since she was put into hibernation.

    ATE powerlot rotors
    Axxis Ultimate pads
    H&R OE Sport springs
    Bilstein HD shocks
    M3 control arm bushings
    new control arms
    new ball joints
    new tie rods

The car handles like a dream with a firmer sportier ride than the cup kit suprisingly. No longer am I hitting the bump stops on the brutal NE winter roads. I love the stance as well. Body roll has increased slightly but this summer I plan on adding swaybars and strut braces front and rear as well as either rota slipstreams or Kosei's. I also plan on adding stainless lines and ATE Super Blue fluid. That will be the extent of the performance mods done to the car before I start saving for a supercharger. Enjoy the pics

The first pic is of the car still on the cup kit in the fall, everything after is post suspension overhaul.

the weaves are the only thing bringing that car down, simply gorgeous car though i saw it in person when nino owned it.

great job man, keep up all the good work you and nino have done to it.

Yeah, the rear window shattered back in the fall and while I was able to get a replacement windshield in there I cant get the lockstrip back in for the life of me, even with the tool from BAV. I had just washed the car before the pics, and being the stoner I am I forgot to remove the tape before the shoot. I also agree on the rims, the weaves are going to be winter rims come this summer when I can get some decent summer rims and rubber in there.

The Kangamangus was sweet from Conway to Loon, but after that I literally had to crawl over the frost heaves. Even my gf's Subaru was having trouble through there.

Whats with the roundel-less center caps?

Car looked better with the Cup Kit obviously but I wouldn't want one either. It's not realy surprising that the ride is firmer, Sports are stiffer.

Keep a lot of wax on your paint and never let it slip or it will start oxidizing fast like mine.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Dont worry I wax my car religiously. The rims were prepped to be repainted by the PO but he didnt have time to get em done before I picked up the car. He did put new rubber (albeit shitty Mastercraft tires) though.

My sealed beams are only 78k young, Im actually fairly impressed with the light output. While bright, I do wish they would extend further into the distance with the light output. Up at school there are alot of deer so itd be sweet to see them earlier. Not sure I really want to drop 200 bones though on a set of euro smilies.
