Nice car man! And yes, e30's work well with the younger ladies ;)

I've had diving boards tucked and not. I like them better in the OEM position, more retro that way.

Nice car - congrats, and welcome to the forum. Pro tip: Don't take any shit you might receive here personally, it's just how it is around here.

These are wise words. I can't imagine I'd be here any more if I'd had my M30 powered e30 when I was 16. High powered e30s are a handful in the wet if you don't have much experience driving & obviously they have none of the driving aids modern cars do.

My car, with the stock M20, has surprised me in the wet a few times. Scared the shit outta me the first time it happened since this is my first RWD car.

So I have this E36 rack, and what I'm thinking is mounting this on and deleting the power steering. Can anybody give me some idea on how it feels like to run this setup? The stock rack and power steering just steers way too easy for my liking.

Power assisted e36 rack is really nice on the street. It firms up the steering just the right amount and the quicker steering really makes the car a lot livelier.

Me and my friend went to the movies to see 22 Jump Street the other day. While we were waiting we decided to take some pics:

                    Wheels look nice. XXR's?

Also, don't delete your power steering... if you wanna get a good feel for what it's like, swap the e36 rack in and then remove the power steering belt. Shit sucks.

That's awesome. My first car was a '87 e 2 door, that's was back in '98 maybe? That is the reason why I drive what I do today.

Painted the metal bumpers black. I think they came out pretty good!

I love not having power steering. I have a z3m rack and the car feels so much better without it. i feel like i can control the car a lot better especially in the rain with the tail end out.

Shadowline diving boards? I like this idea. Might have to try it out on my own car...
