Great story, I found mine on Auto trader 15yrs ago for $5000, was overheated but easily fixed, drove it for 6 months till the engine blew for good, now I'm getting for a full restore like your doing, motors done getting ready to pull it out for a detail, great updates, now I need to fine some RS's too -
Creepy? Ummm... No.
It's just kind of hard to miss an old M3 in someones driveway when I've had 5 E30's. Good luck with your build.Leave a comment:

I was wondering where the car had gone. My friends parents live next door to you. Good to know you are still working on the car.Last edited by CorvallisBMW; 02-23-2015, 07:23 AM.Leave a comment:

Cleaning up the engine bay and straightening things up before paint

Interior stripped

Just test fitting the fender to make sure everything lines up correctly

Finally some updates
Progress should finally start picking up finally
How it had been sitting for about 6 months

Engine bay before

Progress

Mostly finished

Finally ready to leave the driveway and head to the shop

On the shitty ass u-haul trailer. The ramps didn't even go to the ground so it had to basically jump up 4 inches to get onto the piece of shit

Here are the wheels. We're not sure if we're going to powder coat the lips or polish them yet. The centers are powder coated silver

Unfortunately its been sitting in my driveway for the past 4 months. All removable body panels are painted but the chassis is not.
Hopefully within the next week or two it should finally be removed
Does anyone know what wheel I can get to put on the front of this thing?
My BBS wheels from my e46 touring rub the strut and my stock wheels rub the caliper. I can't find anything to fit. The other side has a random steel wheel that i'm not sure where its from but it fits fine.
Yes it didLeave a comment:
