New to E30s and the board

Hey all, greetings from sunny Southern California (no, really). There are a lot of really sweet cars here.

Took my recently-purchased '89 325is out into the desert today, and then through the mountains back home. Here it is, complete with girlfriend, but otherwise stock for the time being. We'll be changing that shortly (the "stock" part, not the "girlfriend" part, as far as I know)...

You're gonna want to scroll right...it's a huge photo.

hey welcome, i think Glendale is real close to Pomona. I think it's like a 20min drive. What are your plans for you new e30? how do you like it so far? welcome again, maybe we'll have to meet up sometime.

yeah, it's about 30 mins away on an average day. I have an aunt and uncle who live in Glend*ora*, which is just a few minutes from you.

Plans? H&R coilovers, bushings, camber plates, big sways, wheels, short-shift kit, JC chip, and an exhaust with no holes in it except the two at the butt end, not necessarily in that order. Then someday, like everyone else on here, an MTech 2 kit. We'll see how long it takes me.

I live down on Burchett, near the freeway, just west of the Nestle building. That works out about right for me, since I work there....:) I'll be up in La Crescenta tomorrow night, dropping the car off at a body shop to get the side you can't see taken care of. Some little dumbass in a giant hulking SUV backed into me a couple weeks ago, making a nice little dish shape near the gas filler....dammit.

The Crest is *awesome,* and just a few minutes from home. I never miss a chance to go up there and test the "double fine zone" theory, so anytime anyone around here wants to, just holler...:)

In regards to the girlfriend, yeah, she's thrilled. She went to sleep in the middle of the brown desert and woke up in the photo, so she's er...contemplating.

Thanks all for the compliments so far. I too am glad to still have the front lip and a halfway decent set of Photoshop skills (that's 3 photos in one up there - you'll be able to tell now that I said it).
