    New wheels for the 540

Engine is out of the M3 so I've been playng with the 540 instead. Picked up a set of used Breytons last night with pilot sports on them. 18x8.5 with 235 front and 265 rear. Now I just need to put my springs on, hope to do that tomorrow.

Holy... What are the suspension plans?

Well I had ordered some Vogtland springs like I had on my 525 but they have been floating on a boat from Germany now for 2 months so I ended up buying some eibachs from a guy here in town. I also got some 3mm pads to use with them so I may put them all on tomorrow and see what I think. It already has billsteins on it that were added to replace the stock shocks and since the car already has shorter OEM springs since it's a 6 speed.

Ya, I'd love to smack the moron that stuck those on there. Getting them rebalanced and will try to "gently" remove them.

Sharp but it seems the front needs to come down a tad.

Not feeling these like I did the ACS's. Bummer about the Vogtland springs, they were the perfect stance on your old E34.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

The ACS looked great on the 525, but for some reason I didn't like them on the black car. I may not keep these wheels, just bought them because they were cheap and they are better than the 15's.

As far as the springs I may still end up with the vogtlands. I haven't canceled the order yet. Plan on putting the eibachs on tomorrow and see how it looks and feels, if I don't like it I may change them.

I've said it before, the best looking wheel on an E34 is...

Car looks nice, but as mentioned before...the 525i with the ACS rep's was better though (pre-painted lowers).

Those look really great, Thad. I love Breyton wheels, and those are my favorite. They're like M-Parallels with a little more detail.
