    my '83 323i stroker

After my introduction topic I finally found time to make a topic about the favourite e30 in my collection

The stroker story started like this .. a S eta in pieces ..

The first e30 I've put it in was totalled because a tractor pulled on the raod without ever seeing me .. It ended like this for the first equiped e30 stroker

But the engine was ok so I bought this one to put it in

all spare parts and a good "885" head

    Disassembling the block ..

    After 2 hours of work

    Disassembling the "885" head

    Sanding and grinding the valves

    Result

    Before/after

straight roads are for fast cars, corners are for fast drivers

Those 2 have to be connected .. old / new type .. pics are taken when the engine sat in the totalled e30

                  wires cutted and marked

Followed this to solder eveything together

                  lets go

                  done ..

For the rev counter and the fuel consumption still 2 wires have to be connected (black/black) for ev counter and white-yellow/white-black) for fule consuption

Thx guys .. I drove the car for 200km today on mostly windy roads .. enjoyed it to the max ..

Good chance to test my digital oil pressure setup

I like the milage also .. for america nothing special I presume .. but for european standards .. 461.000 km really is alot
