Very nice. But I'm confused about what you're measuring here.

Clearace between piston and valve .. we testmounted the cilinderhead onto the block with an old gasket .. we didn't torque the head but placed the old cambelt and manually made a couple of turns ..

So the reading you see is the clearance between piston and head .. 1.91mm .. when you bolt everything together as it should you still lose 0.7 .. so the clearance is now 1.2 with a cold engine and even a bit less when its warm.

Without the piston work we fell short of clearance .. 1.4 when testmounting in stead of the 1.91 we had now
