haha about the swap, it would just be for the hardware, such as motor, tranny, sensors, ecu and harness. i know it sounds dumb but i see more and more big power rotaries out there on the street. The swap wouldnt be hard for me, im very good with my hands, hence me being a mechanic hehe, and ive done many other swaps with rotaries before. I got a call today and the car is pretty much sold for more than what i was asking hehe i will return to the bmw world though, e30 m3 in the future im thinking, ive only seen one in my city, and the population is over a million people. Well good luck to y'all in your projects. dont worry i will be back and keeping the car if the buyer backs out, watch out for one mean m-tech car with the alberta plates hehe

    cheers,
    Dill

Eh, 211k is a bunch but not enough to start worrying about it. You could always go for the ol money shift on the highway I suppose there Mariano.

give your car to me it is junk. lol.

280km that is nothing for a eta, keep on driving it for another 200km, then do something, your car is nice M-tech 1 leave it alone and enjoy.

Whats 280k, like 190k miles? Your eta should be good for at least another 50k miles with no worries.

I know how to fix that. You can get it in a 10lb bottle, about $3 a pound, you'll need lots of it. See what the bulletproof eta is made of.

well, it didnt sell so im keeping this monster hehe

ok so i get an inspection done to see what it really needs, and
cylinder 5 compression was a measily 75 psi

needs new brakes all around, pads and rotors.

needs new muffler, so ill just replace the whole thing.

if anyone can help me out with this, it will be greatly appreciated.

                thanks all

oh also need some lowering springs, used would be best

Eh, If I can find them, all you have to pay is shipping. Its my good deed for the day. Even though I need money, haha. Anyone have specs on how much they lower an E30? I know its just a bit to be noticeable, but not SLAMMED!

FTMFW. It sounds like you have a good platform but jsut pimp the good ole reliable Eta and save up more pennies or spend them getting the rest of the car to new. Then 6 gajillion miles later when the Eta finally craps out drop an S50 in there.

That's my plan. This motor should last me well long enough until I can afford to do an M/S50 swap.

                              They give a 6 cyl E30 3/4 inch to 1 inch drop.
