Really Happy with the car, Kept the old car phone in it... for provenance... Still turns on as well. I have not seen too many Dinan m20 turbo's. The gent I bought this from had some good stories of how he found Dinan ( he needed a brake job and his secretary found the shop ) Also how he worked with Steve on car.

This thing would be worth bank in CA! this is the only BAR legal turbo for the m20. and that strut brace is like 1/30 made.

                Good find OP!

Sweet car! Anyone know how many of these Dinan turbo m20's kits or complete cars were made? The only other one I know of is that black m-tech 2 car on RS's, which is also back east as well.

Thanks everyone... Yeah it was a cali car. PO brought it east with him, and it sat in the garage for the better part of 15 years. He would start it, and run it around the block , then put it back.

I bought it from the original owner. He had a plane jane 87 325is and brought it Dinan for a brake job.... many thousands later, it came back as this. The body kit is a BBS kit.

It runs @ 12psi supposedly has 300 at the wheels, but not sure of any of the specifics. I have contacted Dinan to find out. They keep track of all the cars via vin numbers.

When I opened the glove box and saw the Dinan ECU, I knew this sucker was the real deal.

                    62k on the clock too...

That's an amazing find for sure! Cool story. Take good care of it!

In all my years on R3V I can only remember 1 or 2 Dinan Turbo M20 cars popping up.
