Love the flares with missing ends look so tuff.

Is there any plans to bring the car to WTAC in Australia once completed?

If you do I will be coming over to check this bad boy out.

if you are going through that much pain for such an incredible project, at least paint the hood & trunk the color of the body. You can leave CF for the splitter, grill, hood vents, trunk flare & plate area. An M3--especially an M3 with this much attention to detail--deserves to look like it came off the factory floor looking the way it will after your modifications.

The car will be flashy enough without the unpainted cf trailer park treatment.

Its not a matter of who's car it is. It's a matter of the car itself. This amazing car is more than a track monster built to go fast only, its a show stopper which is obvious from the attention to detail and professional level of the build. I was merely encouraging them to fulfill the "going-all-out"-ness of the project and give it proper paint.

And i wasnt insulting anyone...CF is cool. Like i said, the roof, grills, plate areas, rear diffuser, front lip/splitter, trunk lip/edge, and hood vents would all look killer if left with just the clearcoat. They're going to have to repaint the whole car, so why not do it for a more seamless and cohesive aesthetic? paint on the hood and trunk isnt going to break a lap time, especially if he takes even a 1/2 ass approach to weight reduction.

You see kids slap on carbon fiber shit all the time and think that they're a boss because there's an unfinished CF piece that screams "look at my unfinished hood that i paid mucho bucks for." Dont do that. please. just. please.

That said, if he wants to take it to the demo derby he can by all means do it. its HIS car and ill never see it in person most likely.

Been sanding a lot last week, and it feels like its a stand still in the workshop.

Have test fitted the lip and the splitter, looks good.

i guess i have some couple days left off sanding, then its on to make the seat mounts and the gearlleaver and pedals.

                              Getting there.

Brake parts are starting to arrive from japan

Ohh carbon.. i do have the carbon fever...
