Nice car, and it's a manual. I had a '84 635 CSi manual with a load of Hartge bits bolted on, wish I still had it. It used to spank Porsche 944s and embarrassed a Corrado G60. Mine was black with black leather, shadowline, with the same stripe as yours but in red. Oh why did I sell it.

I do like your seats, never seen an E24 before without leather. Are they velour or alacantra?

BC Racing coilovers - already put them on:

eating up miles in the Tycoon:

getting it off the lift - will go much lower after swapping wheels - these tires are 225/55/16 lol. BEEF!

bumper tab had to come off, car wouldn't roll or turn or anything (don't worry, car is unharmed!)

going to run some 17x8.5/10 Alpinas for a while, the 215/40 on there are way too small tho - getting 225/45 in front and 255/40 in back. Should fill up the fenders nicely :p

They are VELOUR! Alcantara would be pretty burnt up after all these years..

O BIG THANKS TO CONDOR SPEED SHOP for their new knob:
Come shop weighted shift knobs at Condor. These tall shift knobs are CNC-machined from Delrin® to provide a smooth feel with great thermal transmittance.

I'll do a review once I get it on - I'm not sure if I should get my z3 lever in the 6 first, or just put it on now? It shifts alright now, just oem - not too sloppy. I'm unsure if putting this long knob on a super short lever like z3/4 would be wierd? anyone done it?

also - got hooked up through Condor and MOTORSPORT HARDWARE - already have some of this for my other cars, but man; was just reminded how nice this stuff is - no brainer for anyone who swaps wheel, tires, spacers often - saves time and feels super solid instead of messing w extended lugs..lining up bolt holes in the dark...! THANKS

Sent some RENOWN stuff to Condor, look forward to their feedback and putting it to the test! :)

                  some updates:

                  with the 84 Bahama Beige

met up with mojocoggo's crazy beefy e24:

took the Works off - they'll be for sale shortly. Prefer more meat.
                  255/40/17 on 17x10 Alpinas

currently running one of the first RENOWN 130R Motorsport suede:

                  things to do:
                  exhaust hits everywhere; sparks
fuel leak coming from underneath, combined with the sparky exhaust I think I'm playing with death.. gotta sort that before DD again.
                  alignment
                  dial out some camber
lots of other little things - but gotta get those done first!
