Alpina wheels..genuine..pop up now and again. You need to scour the online forums and be ready to pay. Hopefully a fellow Alpina'er will see your restoration and help you out.

There are some crazy three piece Alpina wheels on ebay.de

I'm sure you can, just waiting for an admin for a reply. I've even sent an email without response.

I don't think the door cards are houndstooth, but would make sense. I'll get a close up maybe tomorrow to show, don't think i have a decent photo of them.

Not that this show's tidbits on the car, at least you can see what it came with from factory: Click Me

honestly - I like the color it is painted more than the shade underneath it - that blue metallic looks crazy cool.

    Can't wait for updates.
LOVE the beefy tires too - please keep it that way!
Yeah the current paint is killer! I just wonder if it'd be more sensible to put it back to OE or keep it the same/inbetween the two.
The tires will definitely stay beefy.

If you or anyone knows where i can find a nice pair of 16x8, would be much appreciative. I'm looking to throw 225's on the back! :D

They come and they go so quickly! Ya I still feel like it's too good to be true. I've been ordering up parts and can't wait to get them installed haha, I bet you know how I feel.
In your case, it's just a good (or better) than having an m3. A lot more rare in any case.

I must admit, I never thought i'd be able to try one out. Pretty excited to see if Top Gear's "accidental" reverse upon launching in that 190E Cosworth can really happen haha.

Came here just to say your alpina is amazing man.
Thanks man! The seats are SO firm! Leather is amazingly soft. Hell when you close the doors while inside the car you can barely hear any ambient noises outside.

Did you ever find out why the car was just left in storage for 14 years?
Also how long did your friends Grandfather own it?

    Nice Transformation!
To tell you the truth, I will be the 3rd owner. The PO [ Gramps ] bought the car in... mid 90's IIRC, he had 735i at the time as well that he bought off the showroom floor. Came with gold BBS rims from factory. That car sat for something like 8 or so years before he sold it off, super mint from pics i was shown. no reasons of why either sat, he just had multiple cars to choose from I guess

Yes! I was looking into the Alpina register, never got around to read more into it. I tried registering on the forums, no dice.

And i believe 3 have popped up nearby since then, I think Sean Troy picked up the one in Miami a year ago, and there was a red one up for grabs 112k mi garage kept cuper clean in and out $16k sold within ~13 hours few weeks ago. I was 5 hours late from seeing the posting :( ..But I guess this can make up for that.

Thank you for the updates. They are generous. We are living vicariously through these postings. I am genuinely glad you got this car. It doesnt seem destined for a show room but the open road. Good for you man.

Thanks for cleaning. I am a neat freak. If you are disassembling the car..you could do an awesome concours type detailing job. I recommend Poorboys World products. The natural look has UV inhibitors like more commonly known Aerospace 303. That will bring them back to life, protect your gem and - if you use PB Nat.Look- give it a nice smell.
